Unlike traditional surface waxing, an emulsified wax is processed into the fabric, creating a non-oily finish that resists moisture without residue. The fabric starts out firm and structured, then softens naturally with handling and use.

Inside, the tote is fully lined with premium 6-oz. cotton Oxford cloth woven by Somelos and finished in our signature pink stripe pattern. The lining adds durability and contrast, while reinforcing the bag’s shape. A simple interior utility pocket keeps a writing utensil and small personal essentials close without interrupting the main compartment.

Straps, trim, and base are made from English bridle leather supplied by Wickett & Craig, a long-established American tannery. Vegetable tanned and densely finished, the leather protects high-wear areas and anchors the bag under load. The leather and its construction reinforces the bag where it matters most, keeping the overall design clean and uncomplicated.
